In Zombie for Sale—an infectiously funny slice of modern Korean cinema—Train to Busan, The Quiet Family, Parasite, and Warm Bodies collide to create a memorable zom-rom-com from first-time director Lee Min-jae. One of the undead test subjects from Korea’s biggest pharmaceutical company goes AWOL and ends up at a gas station owned by a group of intergenerational misfits who are swindling passersby. When the gang’s aging patriarch is revitalized by the zombie’s attack rather than killed, the family exploits this unexpected fountain of youth by selling restorative bites to the locals ... until things go very wrong.
