Live theater from Britain’s most exciting stages offers the immersive experience of seeing exceptional productions at the MFAH.
For 60 years, Queen Elizabeth II (Helen Mirren) met with each of her 12 prime ministers in a private weekly meeting that came to be known as The Audience. From Winston Churchill (Edward Fox) to Margaret Thatcher (Haydn Gwynne) and David Cameron (Rufus Wright), the Queen advised her prime ministers on matters both public and personal. The Audience was captured live from London’s West End in 2013 and went on to become one of the most-watched NT Live productions.
