Introduction to Modern Calligraphy is a hands-on beginner workshop led by Houston calligrapher Jessica Wofford. Participants learn the fundamentals of pointed pen calligraphy, including proper grip, ink control, and foundational strokes. Students practice using guided stencil sheets and vellum overlays before progressing to simple letterforms and words. Each participant receives a take-home starter kit to continue practicing after the class.
No prior experience is needed. All materials are provided. This event is designed for guests 14 and older.
