Every month, MFAH members are invited to take part in special Saturday tours of the Museum and learn more about a variety of revolving topics.
In February, enjoy a docent-led tour of Sea of Ink, Forest of Pens: The Art of the Qur'an in the Hossein Afshar Collection. Along with two contemporary artworks, this presentation highlights a dozen objects that span the 7th to 19th centuries, shedding light on the production of deluxe Qurʾan manuscripts from across Islamic lands over more than 1,200 years.
