The MFAH is the exclusive Houston venue for the national theatrical release of Memoria, an enigmatic fusion of science fiction and horror narratives.

The incomparable Tilda Swinton stars as Jessica, a British woman in Bogotá, Colombia, who faces insomnia after being startled by a mysterious loud bang. Her efforts to seek solace lead to a series of encounters with an archaeologist and a fisherman—a journey that takes Jessica across mountains and the jungle. The cast also includes Jeanne Balibar, Elkin Díaz, and Juan Pablo Urrego.
