Members Preview Curatorial Lecture | Gordon Parks: Stokely Carmichael and Black Power
MFAH members are invited to enjoy an exclusive lecture about Gordon Parks: Stokely Carmichael and Black Power.
Lisa Volpe, curator of photography, discusses acclaimed photographer Gordon Parks and offers an overview of the exhibition, which captures the civil-rights movement and Black Power activist Stokely Carmichael in the 1960s.
Plan Your Visit The lecture takes place in Lynn Wyatt Theater in the Kinder Building, and the exhibition is on view in the Beck Building. The Kinder garage is located at 5500 Main Street, and the Beck garage is at 1144 Binz Street.
