MFAH members at all levels are invited to an exclusive curatorial conversation about the exhibition Picasso–Klee–Matisse: Masterpieces from the Museum Berggruen. Curators Ann Dumas and Dena M. Woodall discuss the U.S. debut of this important collection of modern masterworks assembled by preeminent German collector Heinz Berggruen.

About the Curators
Ann Dumas is consulting curator of European art at the MFAH. Among the exhibitions she has curated are Hockney – Van Gogh: The Joy of Nature; Giacometti: Toward the Ultimate Figure; and Vertigo of Color: Matisse, Derain, and the Origins of Fauvism. In addition, she has curated exhibitions at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and is a curator at the Royal Academy of Arts in London, where her exhibitions include Matisse: His Art and His Textiles and Van Gogh: The Artist and His Letters.

Dena M. Woodall is the curator of prints and drawings at the MFAH. She oversees a collection of works from around the world spanning the 12th to the 21st century. Her recent exhibition catalogues include Picturing Nature: The Stuart Collection of 18th- and 19th-Century British Landscapes and Beyond and Virtual Realities: The Art of M.C. Escher from the Michael S. Sachs Collection.
