In 1968, Hania and Janek, two Warsaw students uninterested in politics, fall madly in love as the city is engulfed in protests against the authoritarian regime’s anti-Semitic policies and crackdown on civil liberties. But they are soon drawn into the youth uprising, and find their families have taken opposing positions. The dramatic story of March ’68 intertwines romance, history, and politics in Communist-era Poland.
