Celebrate Germany's historic punk scene with films chronicling the rise of self-expression and nonconformity.
Post-film discussion with Trish Herrera, Dianna Ray, and Linda Younger from the band Mydolls, and Anna Garza, founder and executive director of Girls Rock Camp Houston

The women who led pioneering bands like Mania D, Malaria!, and Kleenex are back on stage, decrying patriarchy, sexual repression, dogmatic feminism, and right-wing violence with the same electric fervor as they did the 1980s. Just Do It! traces the story of the women of German-language punk, innovators and provocateurs who fought as hard against bourgeois society as against the subculture’s macho tendencies.
