- 2 pm | Art-Making Activities
- Make your own flower crown with MuXerHTX and Lizbeth Ortiz, founder of Frida Festival.
- View in person the student-designed garments from Fashion Fusion X, a partnership with the Houston City College Fashion Design program.
- 3 pm | Frida Look-Alike Fashion Contest
- Dress up as your favorite Frida and walk down the red carpet in this all-ages fashion contest! Sign up at the registration table by 2:45 pm to participate in the runway show and have a chance to win H-E-B prizes or an MFAH Family Membership.
- Runway show starts at 3 pm and 4 pm. Winners announced at 3:30 pm and 4:30 pm.
- 4 pm | Live Performance by DJ Rosez
- DJ Rosez spins the best tropical tunes while setting the vibe for the last hour of festivities.
Visit the exhibition Frida: The Making of an Icon at a discounted rate during this event. Free audio guides are available in Spanish and English at the gallery entrance.
- Museum admission is discounted to $10 today, thanks to the generosity of H-E-B.
- Free for ages 12 and younger.
- Activities take place on the Lower Level of the Kinder Building.

- ¡Vístete como tu Frida favorita y camina por la alfombra roja en este concurso para todas las edades! Regístrate en la mesa antes de las 2:45 pm para participar en la pasarela y tener la oportunidad de ganar premios de H-E-B o una Membresía Familiar del MFAH.
- La pasarela comienza a las 3 pm y 4 pm. Ganadores anunciados a las 3:30 pm y 4:30 pm.
