The MFAH and Houston City College team up for a design competition and professional fashion show inspired by art on view at the Museum. “Fashion Fusion” challenges students and alumni from the award-winning fashion design program at HCC to create original designs.

In this year’s 10th anniversary edition—Fashion Fusion X—the exhibition Frida: The Making of an Icon meets contemporary couture. The aspiring designers showcase garments addressing the art of Frida Kahlo and the five decades of artists who have responded to Kahlo’s work.

Admission

  • Standing Room | Included with Museum admission
  • VIP Seating (sold out) | $35 ticket includes a complimentary drink
