A quirky featurette that evokes 1950s Midwest Americana through musical comedy, Corn’s-A-Poppin’ was made by independent filmmakers in Kansas City from an early screenplay by Robert Altman (Nashville). A reel of popcorn advertisements precedes the screening! Corn’s-A-Poppin’ was preserved by the Chicago Film Society with funding from the National Film Preservation Foundation.
