Enormous (Énorme)

Five Funny French Films

Presented by director Sophie Letourneur, with a Q&A following the film

Claire (Marina Foïs), an acclaimed concert pianist, is a distracted dreamer who leaves all practical details to her husband, Fred (Jonathan Cohen). They have postponed parenthood, but with his meddlesome mother’s encouragement, Fred pulls a trick and Claire gets pregnant—and becomes enormous!

About the Director

Although she experiments in different forms of film, Letourneur often playfully trains the camera on the everyday lives of young women.
