This exhibition brings together work by the 2026–27 Core Fellows at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston’s Glassell School of Art. It marks the first public presentation of work produced during their residency and offers a snapshot of current work—ideas tested, materials explored, and questions sharpened through sustained time and support.
 
Participants in the 2025–27 Core Program are artists-in-residence June Canedo de Souza, MJ Daines, and Jewan Goo, as well as critic-in-residence Jana La Brasca.

About the Core Residency Program
Established in 1982, the prestigious Core Residency Program at the Glassell School of Art awards residencies to exceptional, highly motivated emerging artists and critical writers committed to developing a sustainable practice. Fellows are provided with private studios and participate in regular studio visits with regional, national, and international artists and curators. They are invited to engage deeply with the resources of the Glassell School of Art and the broader museum, including the MFAH collections, house museums, and staff of museum professionals.
