Fellowships
The MFAH hosts two distinguished residency programs for artists and critics. The Core Program is based in Houston at the Glassell School of Art. The Brown Foundation Fellows Program is based in Southern France at the former home of Dora Maar, Pablo Picasso’s mistress and muse.
Established in 1982, the prestigious Core Residency Program at the Glassell School of Art offers postgraduate residencies for art critics and visual artists.
Core Program
The Brown Foundation Fellows Program, based at the Dora Maar House in Menerbes, France, provides residencies of one to three months for mid-career professionals in the arts and humanities to concentrate on their fields of expertise.
