About the Speaker
Alex Kitnick teaches art history at Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York. He is the author of Distant Early Warning: Marshall McLuhan and the Transformation of the Avant-Garde and is working on a book about normal art.

Established in 1982, the Glassell School of Art’s Core Residency Program offers postgraduate residencies for art critics and visual artists.
