 Kid Curators: Facts and Conclusions
A curator is a person who works at a museum and makes decisions about the art you see. Pretend to be a curator on this hunt through the Bayou Bend Collection, and use your sleuthing skills to identify important information about the objects on display. (ages 9–13)

Escape the Gardens
This interactive digital game takes you on a hunt through the gardens. Find the tools you’ll need to lower the drawbridge across the bayou and get home safely. (ages 9–18)

 Summer Story Stroll
View excerpts from the illustrated children’s book The Magic and Mystery of Trees, alongside real-life examples. (ages 5–10)

Photo Challenge: Capture the Blooms
Try your hand (and eye) at photography challenges prompted by the blooms in the gardens. Upload your photos to the viewing gallery so you can share your experience with other visitors. Get inspired by their ideas, and add your own! (ages 9–18)

Leaf Coaster Activity
Pick up an activity kit from the Westcott Gazebo (by the entry bridge), then go hunting for a beautiful tree leaf. You can complete the project on-site or at home. (ages 6–18)

Garden Yoga
Pick a sunny spot in the gardens and follow provided yoga prompts. Pretend to be a frog, a flower, and more! (ages 3 & up)

Art Station: Leaf Rubbing
Stop by the art table and create your own work of art. Try to match your rubbing to one of the trees in the gardens, then take your art home to frame or put on the refrigerator. (ages 3 & up)
