Whatever Happened to My Revolution? features director Judith Davis in the starring role of Angèle, a Parisian urban planner who loses her job and moves in with her diehard communist father. Angèle refuses to give up the dream of revolution that her parents nearly realized in the protests of May 1968, but her activism comes at a high cost to her personal relationships. Deftly satirizing the culture of capitalism and bureaucracy, Angèle’s uproarious trajectory suggests the possibilities to be found in less dogmatic approaches. Trailer is in French.
