A virtual tour of the Bayou Bend Collection focuses on objects that trace the development of technology in America from the early British colonies to the late 1800s.
1 p.m.
Daniel Mattausch, a scholar on historical lighting and restoration, discusses the changes that brought interior home lighting to the precipice of the Electric Age.
3 p.m.
Bayou Bend curators and education staff lead a game of exploration and discovery. Learn about the purpose and inner workings of early American technological tools while you connect with like-minded enthusiasts across Houston and around the country.
