About the Speaker
Through her performance-based practice, American artist Jill Magid explores the emotional, philosophical, and legal tensions between the individual and “protective” institutions such as intelligence agencies and the police. The 2018 documentary The Proposal, about the work of architect Luis Barragán, is her first feature film.
