Virtual Discussion | History Book Club “Longitude”

Look to the MFAH for good books and great conversations! The History Book Club presents free, in-depth discussions on literature and art.

Throughout the year, you’re invited to join these talks about books on life in Europe and America during the 18th and 19th centuries, inspired by the collections of the two MFAH house museums: Bayou Bend and Rienzi.

The March selection is Longitude: The True Story of a Lone Genius Who Solved the Greatest Scientific Problem of His Time by Dava Sobel. Download the reading guide.
