Join the conversation! Live from her studio in San Antonio, artist Jennifer Ling Datchuk talks with MFAH curator Aimée Froom and assistant curator Anna Walker.
Hear about Datchuk’s research on traditional Chinese blue and white ceramics at Jingdezhen, located in southeastern China and famous for its porcelain production throughout history. The talk also covers the global migration of blue and white patterns, and how they relate to identity, race, and gender. Afterward, stay tuned for a tour of Datchuk’s studio and participate in the Q&A session. Admission is free.
