Virtual Art Encounters “Collaboration with Tyler Deauvea”

Your favorite collaborative art activity is back—and now it’s virtual! Led by artists and inspired by art, “Virtual Art Encounters” takes the Museum’s popular studio-style art project and brings it online.

The first virtual project of the fall season features multimedia artist Tyler Deauvea, who’s prompting you to create collages based on his character ZOE. Help expand ZOE’s universe, and answer the question “What do you want the world to look like after quarantine?”

Get ready for this event in advance! Need some inspiration? Download these images for options you can use to create your own “Virtual Art Encounter.” When you share on social media, use the hashtag #ArtEncountersMFAH to be part of the collaboration.

Then join us Thursday, September 24, at 3 p.m. to learn more about Tyler Deauvea’s ZOE and see other featured collages—all on Instagram Live!

Virtual Learning & Interpretation programs are generously underwritten by the Jerold B. Katz Foundation.
