Three slum-raised schoolgirls, whose lives seem to have been predestined, grow up to be Joan Blondell, Bette Davis, and Ann Dvorak—and things don’t quite work out as planned. The strong Pre-Code cast of Three on a Match also includes Warren William, as well as Humphrey Bogart in one of his earliest gangster roles.
