The Girl and the Spider

The Girl and the Spider

Directed by Ramon Zürcher and Silvan Zürcher
(Switzerland, 2021, digital, in German with English subtitles)

As her roommate prepares to move out of their apartment, Mara’s emotional roller coaster is set in motion by secret longings surrounding the movers, the neighbors, a cat, and an ever-expanding cast of characters. With The Girl and the Spider, twin brothers Ramon and Silvan Zürcher (The Strange Little Cat) continue their cinematic exploration of human togetherness in a ballad about the need for closeness and the pain of separation.
