With inspiration from Impressionist paintings by Mary Cassatt, Claude Monet, and other artists in the MFAH collections, this workshop for teens explores the techniques used in painting en plein air (outdoors). Visit the Museum galleries to learn about the history of Impressionism, then head over to Cullen Sculpture Garden to create your own oil-painting masterpiece! Recommended for ages 13–16.
