Young adults on the autism spectrum, and their caregivers, are invited to experience art in a sensory-friendly program led by MFAH educators and master educators from Social Motion Skills, a local nonprofit organization.
Participants explore visual art through reflection and conversation in a guided tour through the Museum’s galleries. The tour is followed by an art-making activity, offering the opportunity to put these new perspectives into practice.
Reserve a spot in advance! This program is free. Space is limited to the first 20 young adults (ages 14 & older) who register, along with one caregiver per participant. Contact tours@mfah.org to RSVP.
• Prepare for your trip to the MFAH! We have tips for visitors on the autism spectrum.
