Drop in to a docent-led gallery tour inspired by Seeking the Human Spirit, Houston Grand Opera’s new, multidisciplinary initiative designed to highlight opera’s universal spiritual themes and to expand Houstonians’ connections to opera and visual art. Discover works of art in the Museum’s collections that tie in to Verdi’s La traviata (performed by HGO from October 20 to November 11) and that relate to the initiative’s first annual theme: sacrifice.

Drop in! Gallery tours are free with Museum admission. On Thursdays, Museum admission is free, courtesy of Shell.
