Seated Zazen | Meditation Series


The MFAH is collaborating with Houston Zen Center to offer a series of zazen (seated) meditation sessions inspired by None Whatsoever: Zen Paintings from the Gitter-Yelen Collection. This morning program takes place in the exhibition galleries before the Museum opens.

Admission is free. The Brown Foundation, Inc. Galleries are located on the ground floor of the Beck Building. On Thursdays, the Museum is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. with free general admission. On Saturdays, the Museum is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. with regular general admission. Hours & Admissions

About the Presenters
The mission of Houston Zen Center is to express, make accessible, and embody the wisdom and compassion of the Buddha. The center provides an environment that supports spiritual practice based on the living tradition of Zen Buddhism.
