In a life filled with adventures, musician Ramblin’ Jack Elliott (born 1931) has made 40-plus albums, won two Grammys, and was awarded the National Medal of Arts. A Texas Ramble follows him across Texas, climbing high on Galveston’s sailing ship Elissa and riding a champion cutting horse. Bob Dylan called Ramblin’ Jack “the king of the folksingers.” 

A Texas Ramble includes restored footage of Ramblin’ Jack singing classic songs, plus new interviews with Jack and friends like Arlo Guthrie, Jerry Jeff Walker, Guy Clark, and Lyle Lovett, Step inside music history and culture with a character who has been at the heart of it, making the most of every glorious moment.

MFAH members, students with ID, and seniors (65+) receive a $5 discount.
