The visually stunning Naked Gardens immerses audiences in the complex, unseen world of a family nudist resort in the Florida Everglades. The documentary follows the stories of individuals drawn to this lush tropical campsite, which offers a home for nonconformist values and, more important for some, a cheap place to live. The filmmakers’ respectful, nonjudgmental approach reveals familiar human experiences in a unique community, raising questions about traditionally held beliefs regarding what is socially acceptable.
