Members Preview “Philip Guston Now”

Members Preview | Philip Guston Now

MFAH members are invited to enjoy early access to Philip Guston Now before the exhibition opens to the public on October 23.

Philip Guston never stopped questioning the place of the artist in society. His paintings resonate with a profound humanism as he shifted from figuration to abstraction and back again over his 50-year career. The first retrospective of the influential artist’s work assembled in nearly two decades, Philip Guston Now features paintings, prints, and drawings—both well-known and rarely seen—from public and private collections.
