MFAH members are invited to an exclusive lecture on the nationally acclaimed retrospective Tamara de Lempicka.
Co-curator Furio Rinaldi explores the path-defining career, layered artistry, and adventurous life of Tamara de Lempicka, one of the great protagonists of 20th-century art and design. He places her work in the larger history of European painting and sculpture, from the Italian Renaissance through the innovations of the Cubist and Jazz Age eras. This lecture is dedicated to the memory of Gioia Mori (1956–2025), world-renowned Lempicka scholar and co-curator of the exhibition.
