Inland Empire

Inland Empire

Directed by David Lynch
(USA/France/Poland, 2006, digitally remastered)

Hoping for a comeback, an actress (Laura Dern) accepts a role in a supposedly cursed production and finds herself tumbling down a series of disturbing rabbit holes—complete with rabbits. With Inland Empire, filmmaker David Lynch navigates the darkest realms of the subconscious from the glittering heights of Tinseltown to the depths of human depravity. The vast cast also includes Jeremy Irons, William H. Macy, Julia Ormond, Harry Dean Stanton, Mary Steenburgen, Justin Theroux, and Grace Zabriskie.
