Virtual Lecture | Health & Wellness “How Do We See? What Do We Feel? Shifting Perceptions” Presented by MD Anderson Cancer Center

Join a fascinating conversation about art, sight, and brain science led by applied neuroscientist Sarah Prinsloo. Admission is free.

Live via Zoom / Saturday, May 22, 2021

The Museum’s new Nancy and Rich Kinder Building is filled with works of art that are completed only within the eye and brain of the viewer. Colors, shapes, and dimensions transform as you move around these objects. At the same time, your feelings are moved. This talk explores feelings that are completed within the brain: phantom sensations without a source. Shifting perception can be liberating or debilitating.
