Gallery Concert “Rembrandt’s Rhythms”
The MFAH teams up with the Carlos Lopez Consort to explore the musical rhythms of Rembrandt’s time. A favorite of Museum audiences, the Carlos Lopez Consort specializes in music of the Renaissance with selections from Venice and Northern Europe. The performance includes commentary.
This gallery concert is inspired by the film Rembrandt from the National Gallery, London & Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam, which screens in Brown Auditorium Theater on Friday & Saturday, July 12 & 13, at 2 p.m.
