Family Art-Making Studio | Fall 2024 Sunday, November 17, 2024 1 p.m.-2:30 p.m.
November 17, 2024
In this session, participants explore artistic processes and learn about spiritual guides by creating ceramic pieces inspired by works on view in Rose B. Simpson’s Guides (2022), on view in the exhibition Living with the Gods: Art, Beliefs, and Peoples.
Families are invited to join a teaching artist for an afternoon in the galleries and the studio. Explore and learn about a work of art, and then create your own masterpiece. Using high-quality materials and tools provides the opportunity to better understand artists’ techniques. Recommended for families with children ages 5 to 12.
