Visit the two MFAH house museums—Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens and Rienzi—for an afternoon of free, family-friendly programs that revolve around the theme of “The Unknown Maker”—exploring the stories of artists whose names have been lost to history.

Activity Highlights at Bayou Bend
- 1–4:45 p.m. | Children’s activities in the house hosted by Houston Junior Woman’s Club
- 1–5 p.m. | Art-making workshop led by teaching artist Deanna Santiago
- 1:30 p.m. | Musical performances by Susan McDonald and Joseph Dixon
- 1:30–4:30 p.m. | Storytelling: Brick by Brick by—Charles R. Smith
