Abu Shadi (Mohammad Bakri) is a divorced school teacher living in Nazareth. His architect son (Saleh Bakri) arrives from Rome to help his father hand-deliver wedding invitations for his sister’s nuptials, per local Palestinian custom. The tense details of their relationship come to a head, challenging their fragile and very different lives.
