Drop-in Tour | Tunnels of Light

Drop-in Tour | Tunnels of Light

Explore the underground tunnels of light connecting the Museum’s buildings together: Sometimes an underground movement is an illuminated bridge by Ólafur Elíasson, Chromosaturation MFAH by Carlos Cruz-Diez, and The Light Inside by James Turrell. These commissioned works of art are unique to the MFAH and offer a glimpse into the contemporary world of artists working with light.

This guided tour is included with general admission, which is free on Thursday. Meet up with the docent in the lobby of the Beck Building.

Safety Guidelines In the interest of your personal safety and community health, please observe all precautions set forth by the MFAH—learn more here.
