Experience the work of Shahzia Sikander on a guided tour. An artist in the Core Residency Program at the MFAH in the mid-1990s, Sikander is now internationally celebrated for bringing manuscript painting traditions into dialogue with contemporary art. The exhibition Extraordinary Realities explores the first 15 years of her career through paintings, drawings and videos about the perspectives of women, people of color, and Muslim people around the world.
This tour is included with general admission. Meet the docent in the lobby of the Beck Building.
