Drop-in Tour | Journey through Place and Time: Antiquities

Explore a selection of objects from the MFAH collection of ancient art.

Beginning in 1931 with the foundational donation of ancient Mediterranean objects by Annette Finnigan, the Museum’s collection of bronzes, sculptures, and vases has grown to more than 450 works from Greece, Rome, Egypt, and the ancient Middle East. See a small selection of treasured masterpieces that continue to inspire centuries later.

This guided tour is included with general admission, which is free on Thursday. Meet up with the docent in the lobby of the Beck Building.
