Anand Patwardhan has been making political documentaries for more than four decades, examining the diverse and controversial issues at the crux of sociopolitical life in India. He is active in movements for housing rights of the urban poor and for communal harmony; and movements against unjust, unsustainable development as well as militarism and nuclear nationalism.
