DaCamera Young Artists | Concert Inspired by the Stuart Collection of British Landscapes

The MFAH and the DaCamera Young Artists present a free concert inspired by the Museum’s Stuart Collection of 18th- and 19th-century British landscape paintings.

This evening’s program includes music by British composers Gustav Holst, Oliver Knussen, Henry Purcell, and Judith Weir.

Featured performers: Jeongwon An on violin, David Dietz on cello, Jonathan Mak on piano and celesta, Keeheon Nam on clarinet, Lauren Ross on viola, and Teresa Wang on violin.

The performance takes place on the lower level of the Kinder Building. On Thursdays, the Museum is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. with free general admission.

About the Performers The DaCamera Young Artists program is a professional-development fellowship for instrumentalists, singers, and composers. The young artists participate in performances and workshops at schools, museums, and hospitals.
