Explore the history of American craft at Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens on selected Fridays this summer. Each three-hour event features free art-making activities and other programs for children and their caregivers.

Join the fun on August 16 for the final event of the season! Drop in at any time. Try to arrive by 1:30 p.m. so you can enjoy all the activities.

Go on an Archaeology Dig — Find out what objects from the past reveal about people who lived long ago.
Make Art — Build a wooden toy, make a print on the printing press, sew a needlework picture.
Merchant Match — Play a game on the interactive smart board.
Collect Art — Curate your own exhibition and learn about children who became artists.
See an Artist at Work — Chat with an artist as he creates a painting.
Explore the Flash Drive — Climb inside the mobile camera obscura.
