A Quiet Heart is a psychological thriller about the dangers of intolerance and the clash between conservative and liberal Israelis. Naomi (Ania Bukstein, Game of Thrones) a talented concert pianist who is secular. A personal crisis brings about her move from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, where most of her new neighbors are ultra-Orthodox Jews who view her with contempt. Naomi tries to keep to herself, though she finds a few new friends, including a monk who gives her organ lessons. Along the way, Naomi uncovers mysteries about her apartment’s previous tenant.

This compelling film was awarded the Grand Prize and Best Actress at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, as well as Best Screenplay at the Haifa International Film Festival.
