    Submissions for the Glassell Junior School’s annual Portfolio Competition may be dropped off today from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Winners are awarded scholarships for the 2019–20 school year.

    Enjoy the beautiful gardens of the two MFAH house museums—Bayou Bend and Rienzi—as part of Houston’s annual Azalea Trail. Please note: Both locations are open only to Azalea Trail ticket holders during this three-day weekend.

    This 45-minute, docent-led tour explores the exhibition Spanish Colonial Paintings from the Thoma Collection and the rediscovered masterpiece Kitchen Maid by Diego Velázquez.
