    Making Monarchy: Portraiture, Power, and Pride

    Why did royal portraits matter? How did artists make a great royal portrait? This lecture inspired by Tudors to Windsors: British Royal Portraits from Holbein to Warhol looks at how royal images were developed and popularized to British subjects—and, ultimately, across the world.
