A New Coffee Bar Opens in the Glassell School of Art

A new coffee bar is now serving students, faculty, and visitors at the Glassell School of Art! The Glassell Coffee Bar, located on the ground floor of the new school, offers a variety of grab-and-go light bites, including salads, pastries, and boxed snack assortments created by chef Marlies Wasterval of the MFA Café.

Visitors can enjoy a robust menu of coffee options, fresh-squeezed juices, and fruit-infused water. The coffee bar also offers seasonal drinks—such as smoothies during the summer and hot chocolate in the winter—and artisan popsicles from Popston, a local vendor.

With seating both indoors and outside on The Brown Foundation, Inc. Plaza, the Glassell Coffee Bar invites you to relax at the tables inside or to dine alfresco. “The coffee bar is seamlessly integrated with the building, working into the natural ebb and flow of visitors to the space,” Wasterval said.
