Group Visits and Tours

The MFAH offers tours and packages to groups of 10 or more for the museum’s collections and select exhibitions. For information, call 713.639.7878.

Groups of 10 or more may purchase tickets to see Picasso Black and White at a discount. Tickets include general museum admission.
• Group admission for adults: $16 per person
• Group admission for seniors (65+) and youth (6–18): $13.50 per person

Group Visits of the Permanent Collections
For a discounted group rate, make your reservations two weeks in advance, and make your payment a minimum of 24 hours prior to your visit.

Group admission: $10 per person. Senior and youth groups receive an additional discount: $6 per person for senior groups (65+) and $4 per person for youth groups (6-18). School group visits are coordinated through the museum's Education Department.

Guided Group Tours

Intimate guided tours are available for groups of 10 or more. Group tours include orientation, all-day museum admission, and shopping discounts. See one of the many exhibitions on view, or select a themed tour from the topics below. Reservations are required at least three weeks in advance, and payment must be received a minimum of two weeks prior to the tour. Click here for the Group Tour Request Form.

Guided Group admission: $17 per adult. Senior and youth groups receive an additional discount: $14 per person for senior groups (65+) and $12 per person for youth groups (6-18). School group visits are coordinated through the museum's Education Department.

Experience the glamour and glory of 18th-century Europe at Rienzi, the MFAH house museum for European decorative arts. Rienzi features one of the world’s finest collections of Worcester porcelain. Discount admission rates and guided group tours are available Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Group Visits to Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens


Travel back in time to colonial America at Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens, the MFAH house museum for American decorative arts. The estate is set amidst 14 acres of richly landscaped gardens adorned by fountains and statues. Discount admission rates are available for groups of 24 or more.
